I have the mind of a philosopher, the background of a software developer, a strong foundation with DevOps, expertise in the cloud, and an aim for a more sustainable world. More than a decade of professional experience in IT has led me to this point: it is time to put my skills into something truly meaningful; thus, Kanto was born.

For me, Kanto is not just a company; it's a mind shift: What is the biggest positive impact one could make as a regular guy? And it's not just about me; my two little boys are counting on me. It's better to be safe than sorry. We can do this!

My motivation for working has always been driven by learning and helping. I began by learning how to help others through customer service, then expanded my knowledge of infrastructure as a Sysadmin. With the basics in place, I started exploring cloud technologies on the technical side, and consulting on the people side. Over time, I realized the most effective way to help people in IT was through DevOps principles, so I focused on that for quite some time.

Now, I'm ready to learn and contribute more. The logical next step from helping people is helping nature. I feel confident that my technical skills can make a difference, and through Kanto, I’m eager to learn how to do just that—using the skills I’ve developed helping people to now help the environment.

My background is in systems administration and IT infrastructure. On a dark stormy night, possibly in a datacenter, I realized there’s a nicer way of doing these things. Which then led me to work more and more with varying cloud platforms, automation tools and modern technologies with my DevOps goggles on.

Regardless of the platform, I’ve always tried to do engineering with a heart. Solving the problems that need solving, and trying to keep us humans at the core, not technology. This core, this meaning, is now at the forefront of founding Kanto with the others. We need to support nature, so that it can support us in turn.

I’m a software engineer and a cloud engineer rolled into one, and always curious to learn more about how we compute things. With my 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, I'm ready to help guide development teams through their software delivery journey.

In my opinion, the software is at its best when it is efficient, does exactly what the user needs, and gets out of your way. I believe that this goes well hand in hand with software that is both cost and resource efficient. We need to do more with less computers.
